Today is a special day—it’s the last day of our 21-day mindfulness challenge. As those daily emails come to an end, I want you to pause and really sit with one simple but powerful question:
- What is the one thing you need to keep doing, moving forward, that is good for you—your energy and your wellbeing?
That question is what sparked this week’s blog.
If I could wave a magic wand…
If I could wave a magic wand and give you one thing back in your life that truly nourishes you, what would it be?
- What’s something you’ve dropped from your habits that you know you need to bring back?
- What did you used to do that made you feel more like yourself—calmer, stronger, more grounded, more joyful?
Maybe it’s:
- A regular walk in nature
- Stretching before bed
- Cooking real food instead of grabbing whatever’s easiest
- Saying no to one extra shift
- Going to the gym
- Journaling for five minutes in the morning
- Calling that friend who always leaves you feeling lighter
- Whatever it is—let it come to the surface. Don’t rush it. Sit with yourself and listen.
Don’t just think it—schedule it
Once you’ve named that one thing, I want you to move from reflection into action.
Ask yourself:
- What day will I put it back into my life this week?
- When will I do it next week?
- And the week after that—and so on?
Then:
- Write it down.
- Add it to your online calendar.
- Do it now, while it’s top of mind.
Treat it like any other important commitment—because it is. Your energy and wellbeing are not “nice-to-haves”; they’re the foundation that everything else stands on.
Push yourself—because no one else can do this part for you
Here’s the BRUTAL truth: no one is coming to rescue your wellbeing.
People can encourage you, inspire you, and walk alongside you—but only you can decide to put that one thing back into your life and protect it.
So:
- Push yourself gently, but firmly.
- Hold yourself accountable with compassion, not criticism.
- Remember: you are worth the effort.
As we close out the 21-day mindfulness challenge, let this be your bridge from “challenge mode” to “real life mode”:
Choose one thing that is good for you—your energy and your wellbeing—and commit to keeping it alive.
