Reflecting on 2025: Rest, Renewal, and Gratitude Ahead

As the year draws to a close, it’s natural to pause and reflect. 2025 has been a year of challenges, growth, and connection. For many of us, it’s been a reminder of the importance of resilience, compassion, and the small daily practices that keep us grounded.

At ZestAgain, we’ve been privileged to walk alongside healthcare teams, individuals, and communities—supporting well-being, fostering reflection, and building practical strategies for thriving in demanding times. Each conversation, workshop, and shared insight has been a gift.

Holiday Wishes

As we step into the holiday season, I want to wish you and your loved ones a joyful, restorative break. May this time bring rest, laughter, and moments of gratitude for the year that’s been.

Please note: we will be closed over the holiday period to allow our team to recharge. We’ll return refreshed and ready to begin again on January 10th, 2026.

Looking Ahead: 21 Days of Gratitude Challenge

We’re excited to launch the 21 Days of Gratitude Challenge on January 10th. This program is designed to help healthcare teams and individuals cultivate daily reflection, strengthen resilience, and start the year with a renewed sense of purpose. Gratitude is more than a feeling—it’s a practice that can transform how we experience our work, relationships, and life.

Closing Thought

As we wrap up 2025, let’s carry forward the lessons we’ve learned: that even in difficult times, gratitude can be a compass. Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to reconnecting in the new year and beginning 21 days of gratitude together.

From all of us at ZestAgain: Happy Holidays, and here’s to a bright, hopeful 2026.

Celebrating Life, Possibility, and the Magic of Beginning Again

Last week at ZestAgain, we were reminded of one of life’s greatest gifts — new life. A valued team member welcomed a beautiful baby girl safely into the world, and we are deeply grateful that everyone is healthy and well. Moments like this soften the edges of our busy...

The Power of Small Moments That Give Us Space to Think

In the fast, relentless pace of healthcare and education, it’s easy to forget something simple and profoundly human: we need space to think.  Not an hour. Not a retreat. Not a whole afternoon.Just small, intentional moments that let the nervous system breathe. Over...

Thank You to the Teams Showing Up for Themselves

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of spending time with teams across the Children’s Hospital, Gold Coast University Hospital, and NSW Health in Broken Hill. What has struck me again and again is the sheer heart, grit, and generosity of the people who...

Winter’s Quiet Invitation to Slow Down

Today marks the first day of winter — a season our bodies understand far more deeply than our calendars do. Even in a busy, always‑on world, winter carries an ancient message: slow down, turn inward, and restore. Humans were never designed to power through the darker...

From Empathy to Kindness — A New 21‑Day Journey Begins

Happy Monday, everyone. As we close the chapter on our 21‑Day Empathy Challenge, take a moment to acknowledge what you’ve just completed. Over the past three weeks, you’ve leaned into noticing, understanding, and honouring the emotional worlds of others — and your...

The Two‑Way Flow of Empathy

At ZestAgain we have stepped into the last week of the Empathy Challenge. This week is about shifting the way my community moves through the world. Over the past 18 days, Zesty’s have been pausing, noticing emotions, and listening to there whole body — three...

The Surprises We Don’t See Coming

A new week begins, and I’m starting it with a full heart. Over the weekend, a Zesty reached out to share something that genuinely moved me. They’ve been following along with the 21‑Day Empathy Challenge — especially Days 8, 9, and 10, where we explore listening...

Beginning the Week With Empathy in Motion

As we step into a new week — and for many, a slower public‑holiday Monday — there’s a quiet opportunity to notice how we’re arriving. This feels especially meaningful right now because our 21‑Day Empathy Challenge has officially begun, and the group is already leaning...
